About The Course
 This qualification is suitable for those who use well developed marketing and communication skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts.

Assessment Methods

Assessments are designed to be summative (competency determined immediately after session delivery upon mutual agreement with the learner).

Observation assessments are conducted in a classroom, using a simulated workplace environment (where applicable), as per the training package assessment guidelines.  Assessments are conducted at various points throughout a unit.  Final assessment of the unit will occur when the learner and the trainer agree the learner is ready.

All learners will be required to demonstrate their underpinning knowledge and comprehension of the units that make up the training program. In the case of learners with an identified barrier, the method of assessment will be pre-determined to best accommodate the learner so that they will be able to easily work their way through the training program.  Additional support during the assessment process may be provided, for example in the provision of particular equipment, or changes to the physical environment, or provision of support persons for physical disability, or additional time.  Reasonable adjustments are made to ensure that the learner is not presented with artificial barriers to demonstrating competency in the training program. Reasonable adjustments may also include the use of adaptive technology, educational support, alternative methods of assessment such as oral assessment and role play.
